Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have been a professional photographer for many years . I have to see it first. When I discover the core, the heart of a subject that I have photographed, it's exciting. Being in nature or on a journey, when a place resonates, I may go back many times. I search for different qualities of light, composition, or what grabs my attention. Even so, it may not be there. Sometimes it's luck. Other times it is the intuitive decision that captures something unique, such as "lucky rain" that creates atmospheric reflections. I search for the perfect shot.
